Thanksgiving 2009 - Part One

Oh yes, there will be a part two.  Yesterday we spent Thanksgiving morning with the Lovelace Grandparents.  After we stuffed ourselves with turkey and the fixins, we hopped in the car and headed to High Springs to spend the weekend with the Jones' clan.  What a great way for Peyton to spend her first Thanksgiving!!!

"Dad, when do we get to eat the turkey?"

A baking lesson with Aunt Amanda.

"MMMM, what is on here?"

"Happy Thanksgiving everyone!"

"I'm gonna get you Grandad."

Mommy and me.

A look back...

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, here is a look back at the past 5 months and all the friends and family we have to be thankful for.  Happy Thanksgiving to each of you!

Five is Fantastic

Peyton is five months old today.  I am still amazed every month how time is flying by.  I guess that is the life of a parent.  At times I wish I could freeze time and keep her a little baby forever.  But then again, watching her grow and learn is a lot of fun too!

Weekend in Winter Park

Nothing is better than getting to spend time with your favorite Aunts on the weekend and that is just what Peyton got to do.  We made a quick trip to Winter Park and it was well worth the time.

"It was a long drive but I really am happy Aunt Emily is holding me."

"Aunt Amanda looks pretty, doesn't she?"

We stayed in an old, historic hotel complete with the orginal brick.  Pretty cool!

"Oh my! I am really cute!"

Dinner with Aunt Amanda.

"I am one lucky gal."

"Dad is my hand as yummy as your dinner?"
