Thank goodness for my foot

I am not sure if Peyton is a genius or just resourceful but she made good use out of her foot to prop up her bottle.  She truly is a little monkey.

Snow Cute

Peyton and I were feeling very festive today.  So, yes,  I posed her on a snowman blanket.  But she thought it was fun, especially since I let her play with her new stocking.

"What?"  That's what she was thinking.

"I like this blanket Mom."

"I am 'snow cute' aren't I?"

"That's my name."

"What is in here? And why can't I get it out?"

On the First Day of Christmas...

...My true love gave to me, an a-dor-a-ble ba-by. 

Today Peyton and  I visited her Great Granny.  I guess it becomes a person's right, when the reach the age of 85, to do as they please.  So Great Granny gave Peyton one of her Christmas presents early.  As you can see in the photos Peyton was very happy with her new baby doll and it gave Granny great pleasure to make her day.  It was so much fun!  After we played with the baby doll for a bit, we did put it back in the box to be wrapped up for Christmas.  She will never remember she already played with it.  Seventeen days til Christmas.....can't wait!!!

I am not sure at what age babies crawl but Peyton is ready now.  She spent the majority of her morning trying to get off her playmat.  She is one busy gal!

Happy Birthday Grandpa

Yesterday was Peyton's Grandpas Birthday.  We celebrated with lots of giggles and hugs.

Play time with Aunt Nicole
