Don't you just love an impromptu adventure? Well that is exactly what we had on Monday when we visited Blue Springs. Completely out of my character we packed nothing, planned nothing and it was perfect! Peyton had so much fun swimming in her makeshift swim suit and and nibbling snacks under the oak trees.
Blue Springs is such a cool place. Above you can see Peyton and Daddy checking out the diving platform. I am sure he is telling her as soon as she is old enough she can test it out.
"Come on in Mom, the water's cool."
For now she was happy splashing around the shallow areas of the 72 degree spring.
This is a duplicate photo from yesterday but I couldn't help posting it again. Her face says it all!
But her brave Daddy engaged in a throwback from his childhood....a plunge off the platform. Peyton's Grumps use to take Mike and his brother and now he was able to take Mike and his daughter. What an awesome experience for us all.
