...Bottle that is. She is such a big girl! She always wants to help hold the bottle and now the spoon since she is eating fruits and veggies. So far she has eaten, sweet potatoes (her favorite), pears, apples, squash, carrots and bananas. She has had no objections yet and seems to love everything I give her. I am hoping this early love of food translates into a good cook when she gets older. Then she can use me a taste tester. :)

the Farm
I usually just post Peyton pictures or the occasionl recipe but I was sifting through my camera and found these photos of the animals at Peyton's Grandparent's farm and thought I would share.
Inspecting a tree the Mike had just chopped down. So curious.

Weekend Antics
It was a another beautiful weekend in Southwest Florida. The sun was shining and the air was cool, perfect for being outside and enjoying life. Peyton's weekend was full of time with Aunt Amanda, turkey frying, cuddles, walks around the block, Gator game, fire building and lots of snuggles with Mom and Dad. It was perfect! Below are the best shots from the weekend in no particular order.

New Recipe - Enjoy!
Oven Roasted Ginger Pork Tenderloin
Serves: 4 to 6
Ingredients
•1 pork tenderloin (about 1 lb)
•3 cloves garlic, minced
•1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
•3 tablespoons canola oil
•2 tablespoons soy sauce
•2 table spoons minced fresh ginger
•1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
•1 tablespoon packed light brown sugar
•1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
•1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
•salt and pepper to taste
Directions
In a mixing bowl combine garlic, crushed red pepper, canola oil, soy sauce, ginger, vinegar, brown sugar, mustard and allspice. Place tenderloin in a Zip Lock bag and add marinade. Marinate for at least 2 hours in refrigerator.
Preheat over to 400 degrees and remove tenderloin from marinade. Season pork with salt and pepper and sear on all sides in a hot, nonstick, ovenproof skillet over high heat. Transfer to oven and cook to an internal temperature of 150 degrees, about 15 to 20 minutes. Let the meat rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Heat leftover marinade in a small sauce pan to boiling. Serve over tenderloin or alongside for dipping.
