Boat Ride

To continue with Peyton's new adventures, she took her first boat ride Saturday night.  Aunt Nicole and Uncle Craig inivited us to their post fishing tournament awards dinner .  We had just finished with bowling and didn't have time to go home and change so we met them at their hotel.

It worked out perfectly because they were taking the boat to dinner and invited us to ride along.

I took the pictures with my phone so excuse the quality but it was an experience that couldn't be misseed.

She is still talking about "Raig" (Craig) and the boat and the water.  On the way home Uncle Craig let her drive and that topped off her excitement!

We had such a fun evening with everyone!  It is an night Peyton will not soon forget!

Aidan's Birthday

Can you guess where Aidan's 4th birthday party took place?

 If you guessed bowling alley then you are correct.

 Here is the birthday boy!  FOUR YEARS OLD!

 I am sure that most of you who read my blog think that Peyton has only one friend, Liam!  But believe it or not she has a few others and Aidan is one of her dear friends from music class. He refers to her as "My Peyton".

 This year his Mom let him pick where he would like to have his party and he picked the bowling alley. And while I was completely unaware that two and three year old kids can bowl, I learned that they can and they love it!

 They set up little racks for the kids to roll their bowling bowl down the lane.

 And as you can see it didn't take long for this little chick to figure it out.

 I just have to mention that she is using a 9 pound ball.  I am pretty sure when I bowl I don't even use a 9 pound ball, but then again I don't usualy break 100 on the score board.

 Ball selection was a BIG deal.  The kids just stood at the ball dispenser waiting for the perfect ball.

 STRIKE.....or at least close to it.

 Ten frames of bowling is alot for small children but Peyton and one other little guy, Brody, bowled all ten frames themselves.  Please note she got 2nd place and bowled a 97.  I am confident she would kick my butt.

 And what's a party without cake.  Leave it to mine to decorate her cupcake with her noise maker.  Always the thinker and icing licker.

Aidan's Little Sis Olivia = New Music Class Friend

We had such a fun day celebrating Aidan's 4th year and thanks to his great party idea we have a new hobby in mind.  BOWLING!!!!!

Thanksgiving High Springs Style

This post is a little late but we have been super busy decking the halls and trimming the tree. 

We spent Thanksgiving weekend in High Springs with Nana and Grumps Jones.  Peyton loves it up there.  There is space to run and a whole new set of Grandparents to work her magic on.

 The first morning was pretty chilly so she got to test out her owl hat and mittens Aunt Amanda gave her.

 The above picture is one of my new favorites.  She looks so sweet.

 Since we spend Christmas down here and don't get to see Nana and Grumps house decorated for the holidays, Nana decided this year she would put everything up before Thanksgiving.

 Peyton really enjoyed all the decorations and even did a little redecorating of her own.

 Also, Peyton took it upon herself to do some yard work and even made Nana get in on the action.

 She even took out the trash!

 She took long walks!

 She chased her friend Murphy!

She had a great time and so did we!

Thanksgiving at the Lovelaces

As you will see from the following photos, Thanksgiving at the Lovelaces was all about the bubbles!  While we all waited for the turkey to be carved Peyton made her rounds making anyone and everyone blow bubbles with her.

A day to Celebrate

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go;

even when he is old he will not depart from it.

Today we had Peyton "dedicated" at church.  The ceremony is similar to a baptism, however, our church doesn't do a formal baptism until Peyton is old enough to understand the meaning.   Mike and I pledged that we would raise Peyton with good morals and in a way that would make the Lord proud.

Peyton, of course, was adorable and enjoyed being on stage with all the other kids.

We are so proud of the little girl that she is becoming and are amazed each day with who she is.  We love her so much and are so thankful that she is ours!

 When we got home our neighbor Bob stopped by with his motorcycle and sidecar.  He offered to let us take some photos of Peyton in the sidecar.  Maybe next she can go for a ride.
