A Family of FOUR

It's official!  Sometime in late September Peyton will become a BIG sister and we will be a family of four!  We are so excited to be adding to our family and can't wait for this new little munchkin to arrive!

PS:  We would also like to wish Aunt Amanda a very Happy Birthday!  We love you!

...and we're back!

Actually we never really left.  We just got a little busy and a little short on photos.  But that doesn't mean we have been lacking in excitement. Take a look at what we have been up to...

 Finally a real beach day.

Peyton started gymnastics a few weeks ago.  I wouldn't necessarily call her a natural just yet, but she sure has fun learning!

Let me also mention that she has had two different teachers so far and both have commented on her "lack of fear".  I have no idea where she gets it!?!?

As I look at these photos I am reminded how fast time goes by with little ones.  I swear just yesterday I was holding her in my arms and staring down at a perfect little baby.
Now in that babies place is a precocious little 2 and a half year old who keeps us on our toes and reminds us daily what is really important in life.
Those little moments in between work, laundry and paying bills.
The moments where you are so thankful to watch her grow, play and learn. And your heart is full because she is yours!

Peyton's Life in iPhone Pictures

I really don't do a good job of taking my camera everywhere with me like I use to.  But I DO manage to snap lots and lots of photos with my phone. So I thought I would share some from the past few months.  There is no rhyme or reason to the order or significance of some of these photos, so just sit back and enjoy!

I straightened her hair with my hair straightener.

 She built me a "castle".

Calling it an early night in Mom and Dad's bed.

 Bowling on Sunday.

Sampling her Valentine's Day chocolate from Nana and Grumps.
Our simple Valentine's Day....flowers and cupcakes!
So there you have it.  Our life in cell phone pics.  Happy Valentine's Day to you all!

What's that?

Oh, you know, nothing out of the usual....just and ALPACA!
That's right an alpaca!  Last Saturday we went to a fly wheel and craft show where they had alpacas.  We took some of our Gracefully Southern items to sell and wouldn't you know it the alpacas were positioned right next to us.
As soon as Peyton saw them she bee lined it to see them.  The little one in the picture was only a few weeks old and so adorable!

Look at that face.  We are trying to talk Papa into getting a few for the farm.  They are the sweetest and softest little creatures ever!
Happy Monday all!  Here's hoping your week is filled with fun and maybe even a few fluffy animals!

Friday FUNday

Last Friday Krystal and I returned to our tradition from last year, the Lake's Park Farmer's Market and playground.  It's a little different than last year as there is the new additon, Kenley, and now Liam and Peyton are big enough to play together on their own.
So Peyton and Liam did what they do best....
 they bounced....
they climbed...

 Kenley and I watched....

 they slid...
....and had a blast!
Then when we thought they were tuckered out, we got home refueled them on snacks and drinks and they were off again.
While we played outside a blimp flew overhead.  None of the kids had seen a blimp.  Peyton was super excited and Liam hid for a minute and then warmed up to it.  They were both pointing and telling us to "look".
 Back to sliding...
Notice Peyton's brilliant idea in the background.
Last but not least, Peyton took Liam for a spin in her Hummer.

Sometimes I feel this could be our future in 14 years.  Except Peyton probably won't have a pink Hummer and Liam will probably be the one driving but still with his arm around his girl.

Happy Friday Everyone!  Have a fantastic weekend!
